"TwigFarm's 'LETR Works' service recognizes specific speakers in videos and generates subtitles and dubbing based on their speech."

TwigFarm (CEO Baek Sun-ho) participated in the 'KOBA 2024 (32nd International Broadcast, Media, Audio, and Lighting Exhibition)' held at COEX in Seoul from May 21 (Tuesday) to May 24 (Friday).

Since its establishment in 2016, TwigFarm has been researching and developing technologies and solutions that support 'communication without language barriers'. In pursuit of their company vision, they have strengthened their capabilities in the field of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and introduced tailored insight and translation applications such as 'Heybunny' and 'Gcon Studio' to the market. Particularly, they have demonstrated their proprietary technology prowess through the neural network-based language processing engine 'LETR'.

At this exhibition, TwigFarm showcased their multilingual subtitle and dubbing service 'LETR Works'. This AI-based SaaS supports the globalization of digital content by translating languages from various nationalities into videos, webtoons, web novels, and other formats. Automated subtitle generation, combined with meticulous expert review processes, ensures high-quality output, according to the company.

Furthermore, TwigFarm recently added a dubbing service based on clone voice technology to the LETR Works service. This feature extracts voices from uploaded content and utilizes both the source voice and a replicated version of the user's voice to create dubbed content personalized with 'my own voice'. The company plans to commercialize this service by mid-June.

In response, Baek Seon-ho, CEO of Twig Farm, said, "We are very happy to introduce LETR Works' new clone voice-based dubbing service to the private sector," and emphasized, "This service will revolutionize global content production and multilingual captioning processes.

"In addition, LETR works creates values such as speakers, contexts, and classifications of content beyond file-level storage so that users can only explore and utilize specific parts of existing content. Furthermore, it said that it is also preparing a service to create new content that reflects the constraints of culture, language, and length in line with the secondary creation trend that the existing original content is changing and developing into various formats.

Meanwhile, KOBA 2024, under the theme of "Spark Your Creativity," was co-hosted by E&X and the Korea Association of Broadcasting Technicians and sponsored by related organizations and broadcasters, including the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Communications Commission, KOTRA, the Korea Acoustic Artists Association, and the Korea Acoustic Artists Association.
